Dr Phil Flowers, Chiropractor
B.App.Sc. (Chiropractic)/ B. Clinical Science; Postgraduate Dip (Animal Chiropractic)
My chiropractic “career” started in 1982 as a 6 year old when a fall down stairs led to my presentation at the Nightcliff Chiropractic Centre. I graduated from RMIT in Melbourne in 1998 and whilst completing an extra two years on a postgraduate diploma in animal chiropractic, and after several years as an Associate and Locums down South, I returned home to Darwin in 2001. After working with Dr Chris Hart for a number of years, we decided to purchase Nightcliff Chiropractic Health Centre in 2005. Being born and bred in Darwin and with a family property in the coastal bush, the outdoors and fishing are very important in my life. When I am not adjusting and educating people on healthy living and healthy spines, I can usually be found with my son in a boat out on the water somewhere.
I am proficient in most chiropractic techniques. I tend to practice manual diversified techniques with use of the drop piece table but am totally happy to alter the treatment to suit. For those interested in gentler chiropractic using the blocks or activator this is no problem. I have patients ranging from babies to a very fighting fit 94 year old.
